If you go to www.clt.co.uk, they offer the BARBRI course that prepares you to sit for either the California/New York Bar Exam. They are based somewhat on the British caselaw system I believe. Once you've successfully completed the bar exam, you have the right to practice as a lawyer in one of the two states. I hope this has helped?
