at the bottom of my street there are several cars that park completely on the path meaning that pedestrians have to walk on the road to get past. the owners of the cars obviously think because the path runs alongside parking spaces they can just add another one by using the path. i have a 2 year old daughter and this is really annoying me now when I have to walk on the road because of these selfish idiots. does anyone know who I contact about this?

Try the council as your first port of call. Is it a new development, if it is tghen the roads may be managed by a maintenance compnay for the first few years?
It should be your county council's responsibility rather than the local district council.
My wife has a similar problem where she worked today - she rang the council who said that she needed to contact the police.

She duly rang them and they sent out two traffic wardens who were very helpful.
It's one of my pet hates too tigwig. Let us know how you get on
just sprinkle a hand full of crumbs on the cars and the birds will make a right mess of the paint work.
It's more likely the police than the council.
Don'tyou have traffic wardens where you live?
Where I live, the wardens slap a ticket on the cars if they are on the pavements.
I believe it a police matter. Get them to send one of their PCSOs round and ticket them. As its illegal its irrelevant who complained so your name should not be divulged.
