ok recently i was playing around with my psp and found a access piont to the internet which wasnt passworded etc so i connected to it to see what happend and i got on to the internet but i was woundering is it angainst the law to use someone elses internet with out there permissions like that like is it counted as stealing or anything if so i shall stop but i was just wondering

Last year a man in the UK, was fined �500 for using a neighbour's unsecured wifi.

It is illegal.

A bit like wandering down a street trying the front doors and going inside any that are not locked.
It is illegal, but there should be a law stating that if you don't secure your wireless network then you do so at your own risk. To be perfectly honest people who don't secure there wireless networks are stupid! It's like leaving your front door open for anyone to wonder in......
