We are waiting judgement in a civil matter. This will take about 3 weeks. We have just got fresh evidence can we pass this onto the judge or is it too late?

Your best option is to phone the court and ask to speak to the
' clerk to the court ' and ask their advice.
there has to be an end to the evidence bit of a case
or else everyone would be running back shouting wait ! wait ! until Kingdom come

[which happened in the baby proton therapy case] - in the end the judge said look I am not hanging around whilst you find out more about a possible baby who did well on cale and purple broccoli in Arizona- (erm New Mexico my lord)

it also happens in the film QB VII about a libel case
in a scene where the junior - says " I have found three cases where a judge allowed ....."

and also in Jarndyce v Jarndyce - Bleak House where they finally find the will - but the money has run out

usually it is somewhere around closing speeches and the jury going out ....

first stop - CAB - who may well not know ....
and then the court

I cant find anything clear in CPR ( civil procedure rules)

oh and when you find out tell us

it cant be that common - in all the cases where I was a litigant in person the judge asks "OK is there anything else ?"-
and if there is further evidence then it is pretty obvious he is gonna say sorry no ....

the other side has to have an opportunity to review and discuss the new evidence ( ie say it is crap and not relevant and whats more late ) - which really does mean a further hearing .... even if it were undefended ....

I dunno - ring up a few people and tell us what they say
