Decree Nisi ( Divorce Hearing ) Do I Need To Be Present

i may be out of uk for couple months, do i need be present for this decree nisi hearing or not, if so why ?

both parties are consenting on breakdown of marriage relationship / mutual agreement.

No. Not if both couples are happy about it.
Under most circumstances there won't be a 'hearing', per se. If you've received a certificate stating the date and time that the decree nisi will be granted (without any formalities) then it will simply happen automatically.

There would only be a hearing if the judge dealing with the case decided that a decree nisi couldn't be granted solely on the basis of the information with which he'd been provided. The certificate to that effect would tell you whether you were required to attend court or not:

i thought so, i wasnt there for my 1st divorce hearing many years ago.

Both couples? This may be a more than usually complicated divorce!
