My daughter has received a nasty letter from a company why say she not only parked in a caroark and didn't pay for a ticket but she has also ignored ticket and so now has to pay hundreds of pounds .she swears she has never had a ticket on the car but she drove back to the cafoark which she has used for years and yes they've now put up discreet signs saying you now have to pay which she never saw. They say you have an hour free and then have to pay. She was only half her at most but this letter says she was 2 hrs and didn't get a ticket. What can she do??

Flipping phone pls ignore all spelling mistakes xx
Surely she can appeal, were there CCTV cameras there for proof??
Look at Martin Lewis money tips, he has a feature on them somewhere on the site.
Ignore it.

Lots of private car parking firms are chancers - they send out a hundred nasty threatening letter, one person pays - result.

If they send a solicitor's letter, and I seriously doubt that they will - get legal advice.

Until then, they are blowing smoke, so take no notice.
I believe some parking companies are not legit. Google them.
Wasn't there a case that went to court not too long ago , which the fella
lost ?

She's in a right state. It says because she ignored the ticket on windscreen( which she never had!!) they've referred it to another agency and it's now hundreds of pounds . I've asked her to send me a screenshot so I can give you all more details
Ask the parking company if they can provide cctv footage of her entering and leaving the carpark (with timings)

Ok so how do I get the photo on here now??
have they photographic evidence of ticket on screen ?? anyway if it is a private car park with private parking company I would ignore it

All I do is take a picture and upload it to my computer.
Go to tinypic and browse my pictures.
Click upload on the picture I want.
When it has uploaded click on see large size picture,
then cut and paste the the details from the top info bar thingy.
