I've installed Windows 10 in place of W7 on my laptop, but so far it's been a disaster.
The start button doesn't work. Cortana doesn't either.
I can't change the time format - It's in US style.
Control panel gives only limited access.
I am getting lots of error message when I boot up.

Am I stuck with it or can I get my Windows 7 back?

Thanks for the suggestions offered concerning removing Windows 10 from my desktop, however nothing worked on account that so many of my keys were disabled and I couldn't get control panel to work properly.
Eventually I called Microsoft who were helpful but I finished up having to pay them to get my Windows 7 back. It's fine now, but not a good experience.
They told me that my anti virus progs. had damaged some ... something or other.
Microsoft should not have charged you for that, assuming you had the W7 key
