Hi I am at court soon alleged assault on a minor he says a punched him and walked off basically its his word against mine. He has no witness to back him up he does have a small bruise and picked me out of an ID parade I voluntary took . I have co operated every step of the way I also have CCTV very close to the area (2 meters away) showing at that time I was wearing different clothes (actually provided police with all days CCTV wearing different clothes) he said I wore a black tshirt its a white addidas tshirt on the CCTV. Its also motion activated and did not pick him up as he claimed he rode down my street on his bike when this incident happened. My girlfriend who was with me and we can be seen leaving the street at near to the time of the alleged incident made a statement too saying we did not see him or any violent confrontation but yet I am court next week I will be pleading not guilty as I AM !! but why would this even get to court has worried me so I thought I would post on here to see peoples opinions even the police have said they cant see this going any were but it has me worried why send me up in the first place !! anybody been in a similar situation ? what was the outcome ?

As a volunteer in the line up you shouldn't even be the suspect, let alone due in court, judging by this website:-

I think jaycboy was asked as a suspect to take part in the identity parade. A suspect has the right to refuse but he 'voluntarily' agreed to it when asked.
I think you need a lawyer
rather than us
after all it is a question of persuading the judge or whomever that it is all a load of cack
and lawyers do this full time and we dont
but it costs

and as for thinking that judges are sensiblecreatures of the night who go out on Sat 10 pm - forget it You need a lawyer
