Consent Order

In March 2012 I signed a Consent order on the advice of a Solicitor. I have now just discovered that I was probably given incorrect advice and should have contested the Court Claim. The Claim was made by my son in law , who is a Solicitor and I trusted him to do the legal work in a land transaction between us. The Solicitors Code of Conduct appears to absolutely forbid this under the Conflict of Interest section.
Can I appeal the Consent Order on the grounds of Latent Discovery?

There are a number of potential angles here. I would suggest you take independent legal advice as soon as possible.

And no, you cannot appeal a consent order.
