Advice Please.

My husband has an excellent job on overhead lines. That's a given regardless who he works for so that's just background.
His current (Indie) company have an exceptional contract with a major power source and it looks very much like it will be renewed ...and why not with the likes of my husband leading the way ! (I'm a very proud and supportive wife....he works sometimes 16hr days)
However the main sub contractor (his boss isn't happy with another sub and he has offered/given my husband a 15% share of the company.....no strings.)
Now to my mind he wants to pull my husbands strings ! Its a multi million company so i'm not being flippant.
His adversary still has the reins...an accountant has been given 30%
I dont know where the odd 5% atm lies but it's apparently coming my husbands way

I have absolutely no doubt its A1.....my husband has always been in the high tax bracket (baskets!!!!!!!!) but why would they gift him such a substantial slice of the company to get the main share holder out? (who wants out anyway ......not for contractual reasons) Sorry seems complicated but its our life.

I think my husband is being used as a puppateer.....i've told him but he's not buying it but to my mind he is being used as dummy No-one in their right minnds signs across 15% of a multi million £ company for spite?
The contract theyre almost guranteed is huge, massive, life changing.......I hope my H gets a cut....even if its down to warfare !!
