I'm a bit behind and still have episode 3 to watch, but who is the guy living in the couples outhouse and why, and why did the father suspect he had been touching his teenage daughter before kicking him out?

He's an old mate.

His daughter had been wearing glitter body paint the night before when the mate drove her home.

The next morning he was covered in glitter.

Thanks Zeuhl, and ginger, I will be watching the next episode tonight, its really good.
I think we may be the only ones watching it...tucked away late on Channel 5!
Maybe LOL

we've set the series to record so we know we'll always have something quality to watch when we want.
cheers trt - you're welcome :-)
I'm enjoying it too but I do think the prime suspect, Ben, is doing a few stupid things though. Like hiding his torch under his house for example. If he wanted to get rid of it why didn't he get rid of it as soon as it fell out of the back of his van?

He could also have kept his mouth shut about the box of photos in the doctor's attic and told the police. I don't think the police would have ignored that.

Who do you reckon it is then?

I'm a bit undecided if its the friend he chucked out from the outhouse, but probably wrong.
Really enjoying it too, but, again, why did he not just dispose of the torch completely somewhere way off site, when it was obvious to him that someone was trying to set him up!! Money could be on the wife, cause she would never be the obvious choice.
Have just watched the final episode (recorded) and....wow! I won't say anything about the outcome because it will spoil it for others. This has been a brilliant Australian six-parter with excellent acting and direction and a well-written storyline. If you get a chance to see it (it's out on DVD apparently) I highly recommend it.
Endorsed

Beautifully and perfectly paced over 8 episodes.
Too many stand-out performances to mention.
