TAX and Solicitor

If I tell a solicitor by email about someone who does not pay tax on overseas earnings plus on a business over in the UK are they duty bound to report them to the tax people.

It may be that client confidentiality rules would prevent him from reporting it without your express permission even if he wanted to.

I don't know for certain but I doubt it
Can I ask why you want to use an intermediary instead of going straight to the tax people?
