Alleged traffic offence

Have been reported to police over an alleged altication with another driver, police have informed me that I will be called into court over incident, no witnesses, perhaps I should have reported this driver first for their poor driving. Would like to find out has anyone had this experience before and if so what happened? Police were very quick to react ( same day in fact )which has brought me to the conclusion that this person works with or for the police in some way.

perhaps were you trying to get in front of this "poor" driver ?
What did you do?
If you report something to the police, they must act on it. How quickly that happens depends entirely on how busy they are at that time
If you were driving like an idiot, because if you felt the other drivers driving was poor then your reaction may not have been good driving, then why should he have no reported you?
I suggest you post again when/if you are charged with an offence.
