ccj been removed now what

A friend has been to court to have he's ccj removed and won he's case.
He would like to know if any else here has had there's removed and how long it takes to show on your credit rating as he needs to get a loan for a car.

He can easily apply for a copy of his own credit rating - costs about three quid from a company like Experian, so he can see for himself.

I thought it took around 5 years to clear a bad credit rating.

What it was he was wrongly given ccj that's why he had to go to court . I know the paper work has to be sent out from court but who gets it to remove it from your credit file ???
