My husband is currently on remand and has been charged with a section 18 GBH with intent and also possession of an imitation firearm. I'm curious as to what sort of sentence he will be looking at. What happened was we were burgled by our next door neighbors brother, my husband found out who it was and him and a friend went and beat the guy up, my husband had a metal bar, which he grabbed out of the car as his friend ran after the guy. His friend had a baseball bat and they both had balaclavas on. I found out last week that they aren't pressing charges but i imagine that the CPS will continue the charges. The only evidence the police have is the guys girlfriend who witnessed the attack and also my husband admitting to beating the guy up. If any one has any information that could help me as to what sort of sentence he's looking at I would be really grateful. Thank you.
