i am a senior prison officer. my partner went to prison for 15 days for driving whilst disqualified. can i still be with her and keep my job?

Yeah you should be okay mate. Actions by other people are their own business. Im pretty sure this won't have any affect on you.

The only reasom why I'm pretty sure and not definately sure is that Canada I know ask for even arrests; let alone convictions of family members when appying for a visa!

as you are already a serving officer I would think that your job is safe, its only usually if you are applying for a position that the powers that be take into consideration offences comitted by family and partners. For instance I applied to police, passed everything but failed CRB check as a family member had a police record for fighting in town, I appealed but lost, their reasons were that it could potentially compromise my position if i was policing the area where the said family member comitted the offence. hope this helps

thank you for that reply. And as it was in the grand scheme of things a small crime with such a low sentence it may not cause a conflict of interest.

exately..and your employer need not know about it. your'e a serving senior officer so have proved your worth, I wouldn't worry too much.
