my friend drove some people to a place so the other people could get something of a man and has been charged for wounding with intent and he was sat in the car when others were beatin the man up what is the sentence likely to be?

anything from 7 years to a max. Life sentence.

I'd fear the worse to be totally honest - that shows pre-meditation, sufficient mens rea of intention - basically a prosecuters wet dream.
