Be careful you could be charged with wasting police time if you have made a false statement.

Are you dropping charges because of pressure from the accused?

Is it domestic related?

Think carefully

Whether or not the charges are "dropped" is not up to you I'm afraid. The prosecution is in the hands of the CPS and they will determine whether or not there is sufficient evidence to proceed.

If you are the victim you will need to make a retraction statement but if this is a csse of domestic violence dont be surprised if the CPS continues to prosecute it
