is it right to get a reprimand or warning without attending the polcie station

The Police can give you a 'caution' anywhere. You do not have to attend the station, it is not an arrest. A caution can be used to warn you that you are overstepping the mark and the next step is arrest.

I assume this involves a juvenile. Can you confirm whether it is a warning or a reprimand administered?.

(Formal Cautions are normally dealt with at the police station as the offender has to be processed including the taking of DNA / F-Prints and other info).
