ok. So who would be considered the Next of Kin if something were to happen to My mother, Father, Son, and my self..... I am and only child and my son is my only child. who would my MOTHERS estate go to? Would it be my Husband, her Son-in-Law, or would it be my grandparents..

if your mother died sort of by herself, the first 250k goes to the spouse.
cases of megadeath such as you are planning (for) hardly ever occur.

instead of pulling the petals off a daisy one by one and saying - "rich, very rich, pauper"

why dont all the adults make wills ? as BC ( who used to do this for a living ) says. Cheap and not a lottery.
