Current procedure dictates that records are to be deleted when the subject attains 100 years of age or death, whichever occurs first.
do you mean 'on police files' or your own 'criminal record' or 'previous' ... ?

under the *rehabilitation of offenders act* certain crimes will not appear on an employers search, and you do not have to inform them, after a certain length of time ... but the police know forever!
