Agencies

I am going to leave work in 2 weeks time - 29th Aug. I have registered with one agency and will register with 3 next week as I'm going straight into temping.

Is this too much ? What do you think ? It would just be a case of seeing who will find me work first, but what if they all find me work at once ? or if i take a job thats good, what would i tell other agencies when they find me work ? In other words how would i be loyal to all of them !

I would advise registering with 3 agencies - but choose carefully. Before registering with them, ask them which organisations they work with and who they have supplier agreements with. That way you can grasp how many vacancies they have. I would also keep your eye on a couple of the larger recruitment websites, for example reed.co.uk. Good luck!

Hi sunny - many thanks for your answer. I am confident with the agencies i will be registering as they are known to be very professional. One of them is Reed, which also very popular one. But i just dont want to be in the frustration of getting calls from them all saying they have found me temp jobs when I am in a a good temp job that suits me. Plus i want to avoid leaving a temp job for another one with another agency. I just don't want to be spoilt for choice over work with other agencies. I want to be loyal to them all where possible. I don't think i should register with anymore !
