Working for the Media

I am currently working in London involved in the Insurance Industry and am soo bored of the boring repetativness of it all, and have always been interested in the media as a career in the background.
Anyone know how on earth you're ment to get your foot in the door with no previous experience or relevant qualifacations?
Its not like i can apply for anything significant except the tea lady.
Please help im so bored!

no experience, no problem. first you have to open the door then put your foot through. if that fail, kick the darn door open then march through. simple. good luck!
