disneyland florida

Hi all,
Have decided what to do with my life and would like to move to florida for a couple of months and just work at disney and rent a place. This is my subsitute uni, as i didn't go and feel like i need some life experience. Does anyone know what sort of wage the cast characters and general park staff get paid over there? Can't seem to find any vacancies on the website that give any indication. I know that everything costs around half the price over there at the moment, so are the wages relative?
Thanks.

I think your first obstacle will be to get a work permit for the USA. Why not try a season at Disneyland Paris first to ease yourself into the disney mindset?

I've heard they get Mickey Mouse wages.

By the way Disneyland is in California, Disneyworld is in Florida. An often made mistake.

I think you are under an illusion if you think the cost of living in Florida is half that of the UK. It is pretty much comparable.

Helpful!

I'm under no illusions thanks. I've just returned from there 6 weeks ago and know exactly what the cost of living is. I also never said it would cost half what it does here. Which is why I asked whether the wages were relative to the cost of living e.g everything costs half the price, but do they get paid half what we do? Read the question before you try to be a smart a*rse.

Anyone with some helpful answers?

To quote you - "I know that everything costs around half the price over there at the moment". If this isn't saying it will cost half of what it does here what is?

Just trying to be helpful. I suggest Dopey will be a very appropriate character for you.
