It is fine to assert something along the lines as Hymie is suggesting, but the second sentence needs to assert your evidence. Something like 'I have spent the last 3 years managing six people in a fast-moving customer-oriented environment in the food industry'. When all you were was a McDonalds supervisor.
Then expect to be asked about this at any interview.
Remember, the application gets you the interview, the interview gets you the job.
