You can't lose your job for messing around, you need retraining, ask for help in that area

Be serious. Let your manager have his say - don't interupt, and pay attention.

When he gives you a chance to speak, say that you've had a long think about your position, and you realise that you haven't behaved well. You will be approaching your duties with stuibale maturity and dilligence, and you hope that this period of your career history can be put behind you.

Take that approach - and stick to it in the future - and you should be OK.

try sleeping with him!
Ask yourself if you are the right person to do the job! If your "messing around" instead of working perhaps he has a point if he lets you go. And if you're on a final warning you don't appear to have learnt from your previous mistakes. To be honest I'd struggle to find a reason to keep you on.
Basically when things come to a conflict situation like this it is due to to expectations not being met. Ask your boss what he expected, what he expects and how he can help you achieve that target.

Show your manager that your serious about your job, think about your role, what could you do better? What will you do to stop messing around ? ie move seats, avoid getting invloved with the jokers etc.

Be punctual, and use the critcism as feedback, explain you wnat to improve and do not want to lose it.

Do not lose your self repsect though!
