/// Judge Michael Topolski QC remanded him in custody and said: ‘I’m quite satisfied at this stage that there is a significant risk that if he were released on bail he would fail to
attend. ///

That's a little untrusting of you Judge.

Yes and no.

Yes because they seem so good at it. ((Just think what they could achieve if they did an honest day's work))

And no because sometimes fraud is just so easy to do.

I'm pretty certain they do come here with a view to fleecing the public. Instead of a nice cushty time in our jails they should have their biometrics taken, relieved of any assets and they and all their families immediately sent back from whence they came. We should establish proper border controls to ensure that they and all other foreign criminals should no longer be able to enter the UK.

What is interesting about this, is the fact that they have swindled the taxpayer out of more than £10m but to my knowledge it is only being reported in the Mail and Express.
Can't be true then!!
It's well known and documented that the Nigerians are heavy into fraud. Seems to come naturally to many of them. I had a Nigerian guy working for me who confessed he didnt trust his fellow countrymen!
It wasn't 10 million they stole but 2.5 million.
The report says if they hadn't been caught it could have been 10 million. Why stop there? If they hadn't been caught it could have run to hundreds of millions.
