I am starting work for a small business (owner plus me) and I would like to know if my boss has to provide a pension for me or do I have to pay into my own scheme.

If you're aged between 22 and the current state pension age, working in the UK and earning more than £10,000 p.a., then your employer must automatically enrol you into a workplace pension scheme.
