Redundencies & Secondment staff

We have redundencies going on at my place of work.We have some staff who are on secondment to us from another part of the group am I right in thinking they cannot make a member of staff redundant & replace them with the seconded staff?

I think you're correct. Check out the ACAS site for clarification though.At my place of work our 'associates' had to go first.

As far as I know, if someone is made redundant then the post is gone and cannot be filled by anyone - whether they are on secondment or not.
