I have several flowering shrubs in my garden. On the left one of them is a potentilla and on the right one of them is a forsythia, and one in a pot is an azalea. Every year they have masses of flowers . But this year they don't even have a single bud, let alone flower - not one. The other potentilla has masses of flowers already and everything else looks ok so I'm baffled. All three shrubs look healthy and are full of leaves. Any idea why they've all not grown a single bud??

I think its probably because the weather is still a little unsettled at the moment, with early morning frosts still about.
Hopefully next month, things will be more stable.

It's been really mild here. Even all my seeds have come up - sweet peas, nasturtiums...... so strange
