What do you make of this story?

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/sports-direct-security-guard-banned-jewish-schoolboys-and-told-them-no-jews-no-jews-9735919.html

I would be particularly interested to hear the opinion of those who supported the Christian B&B couple who refused a let a room because of their religious convictions.

Were Sports Direct right to sack this security guard?

If so, why?

Me I think is was totally right to remove this guard, as this is *competely* unacceptable.

However, I believe there are some people who think that shops and service providers should have free will...

So...is there anyone who agrees with the actions of this guard?

And if so, why?

The first 'If so, why?', should be 'If not, why not?'.
Professor David Rosen, a solicitor and the father of one of the boys..

Oops looks like the guard is in deep do do.

Sports Direct had no option but to sack him to distance themselves from his actions.

The guard was rightly sacked and I hope taken to court for his racism. Sports Direct were quick to act and state their support for the children. Was the guard Asian perhaps?
Scrivens, you are really skating on thin ice there!
This sounds like it comes from about the 12th century...
Firstly, firstly, this bears no similarity to the case of the Christian couple who refused to allow a gay couple to share a room. Secondly, I want to know the reason the security guard stopped the boys from entering the shop. On the face of it, one assumes that the boys were not causing trouble, so yes, Sports Direct was right to fire him.
The guard was out of order, he had no right to ban them. Yes Sports Direct were right to sack him.
oops, only one firstly^ required. :o/
Are the Jews a race?

Or is Judaism a religion?

Or both?
Oh no not that debate again.
Whether they are a race or a religion or both is immaterial. They don't go around committing mass slaughter, unlike some other groups I could mention.
