third party liability

can anyone suggest a website where you are able to download/print a disclaimer when lending equipment to a third party .... I have been asked to lend out a ladder and know that previously that when an accident has happened that the lender has been held responsible ... is there a standard disclaimer to mitigate this responsibility?

even if you were able to print such a disclaimer, im not sure it would mitigate your responsibilities. Fir example, if you lent someone a ladder that you knew was dangerous and rickety, even with a disclaimer you would surely still have some responsiility?

I agree - but I am 100% certain there is nothing wrong with the ladder - just looking to mitigate improper use etc - looking for wording to say it's entirely the borrowers responsibility to use correctly etc .....
