provisional driver

if my wife has an insurance policy with a named provisional driver on it . can the provisional driver drive the car with only my wife or can any full driver be in the car instead

ot sure, sorry. But if anything goes wrong during the lesson, such as driver feels ill or has a bump, who would drive it home

The supervising passenger must be able to legally drive the car - that means he or she must have a full driving licence and be insured to drive it.
