Just had some outside gas copper pipes stolen overnight....which insurance would these be covered by? have buildings, contents and home emergency cover......thanks!

it will be in the policies. You don't make it clear if they were active pipes (in which case you will have gas leaking - do something about that first!) or just some old pipes that were in your garden

active pipes on outside wall....national grid have already been in to cap the meters to stop any possible leaks...
