Does anyone have any info on the expected running costs of a GSHP.central heating system with solar thermal water heating,for a property around 3500 sq feet with 18 rads and good insulation...but 90% wooden floors.

Can't help I'm afraid, BS. I've thought of going down this route a couple of times.
I haven't simply because it's near impossible to get any realistic figures.

I know what you mean TB........there are lots of variables.No gas on this site and oil is v.expensive and rising.Pellet boilers are ok at the mo but will start to track gas and oil prices.Im excavating about .2 of an acre for the driveway and parking and so thought its a good time to install the collector array...but still got cold feet.(scuse the pun:-))
