Insurance on Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte

I bought a Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte on a T-mobile 18 month contract in 2009. At the time I paid £353.99 upfront and then £35 per month for 18 months. I lost my phone in March and whilst discussing something else with my bank, I was informed that I had mobile phone insurance so I claimed. After a lot of fussing about, my claim has finally been accepted but they cannot replace my phone with the same one. Instead they have offered me either a 32GB iphone 4S or £350 cash settlement. I know I cannot even buy a used arte for £350 but have no idea how much my phone would have been worth or would cost to replace as Nokia have stopped making them. Can anyone offer any advice?

Btw. You paid...

Btw. You paid top dollar for your original handset, but assuming that you paid it off a couple of years ago the offer of £350 seems more than fair for something with a lower market value.
