I'm moving long distance to be near family and a cousin has offered to come down by train and drive me to my new address in my car. I have fully comprehensive insurance will it cover them for the journey if they have my permission to drive?

No, not unless they are on your insurance as a named driver.
If the cousin has his/her own fully comp insurance it may cover them to drive your car , but it will be 3rd party only cover , so damage to your car will not be covered.
Best option may be to get a temporary extension to your insurance to cover it or add them as a named driver but there will be a charge for...

Probably not - if your policy covers only named drivers (like most these days) then your cousin is not covered.

Your cousin may have insurance of his own which covers him (possibly third party only) for driving another car
