Where your knowledge counts

About This Site

The AnswerBank is a free knowledge network designed to allow users to interchange information, provide solutions to questions, and enable intelligent discussion about topics of interest.

The aim is to throw the site open to users and allow them the freedom to dictate content that is of use to them.

When you ask a question, we shall email you to let you know when an answer has been given.
You can rate the quality of the answer given; you can decide that you have had enough information and want no more emails; or you can leave the question open for further responses.

And you can dip into the AnswerBank at any time to create your own subjects for discussion or simply share in or contribute to what others are talking about.

Just as we actively seek your questions, we also actively seek your answers. People from all walks of life have specialist knowledge in one field or another. We all have had different experiences and we have very different skills.

The AnswerBank enables people who need answers to turn to people like you for sound advice. When questions are asked, we want real people to answer them, rather than just present information from textbooks.

The only thing we ask you for is to register with us, giving a username, a password and your email address. That way we can ensure we let you know when there is a response to a question you have asked – and we can ensure that the AnswerBank is used in an intelligent and inoffensive manner.

We don’t pass that information on to any third parties, and if you want to read our Privacy Policy on this, then click here…

We also have a set of Terms of Use about use of the site and you will be asked to acknowledge that you have read these when you register to use the site.

If you have any concerns about the site or suggestions about areas in which it can be developed, then please Contact Us.
