keyingphone numbers in phones

Help, please. Can anyone tell me how to key in the numbers I most use into my phone - it is a panasonic - we have three connected in various parts of the house, and I have lost the booklet which no doubt told me how to do this. Thanks for any help you can give.

What model is your phone? Panasonic make lots of different ones...

It says on the bottom KX-TG 1100E of the main bit - I googled it to get a printout of the manual but could only find mobile phones.
