How it Works

Passport required for Domestic flights?

Do you need to take your passport for domestic (within Britain) flights? Some folk say yeah and some nae????

With heightened security everywhere, I would say I will have to bring it with me?

Confused!

It is not a passport that is requied but positive means of identification - a passpost being the most suitable. If you have a passport - take it.

Yes as above, no actual passport needed but the jumped up anal t055ers that have infested airports insist that you need photo I'd, so a PP is the best form of that but a driving licence should be ok. It's interesting that I can still get on other forms of public transport without any form of ID.

It will depend on the individual airline as to what is classed as suitable photo ID. But none of them will refuse a passport.
