caravan battery charging

will the caravan battery charge automaticly off of the mains hookup? when on site...........
also will the battery charge while being towed are there any switches you have to turn on....? on switch board ( battery condition) The switch has 3 positions
top....car battery ...middle off...bottom caravan battery

The battery(ies) will be charged when you hook your van up to a mains power supply or should do, just makew sure when you hook up to the mains that the charger has a light on it to say it is charging....

The 3 position switch means that if you leave it on Car Battery then the battery in the van will not go flat but your car will as the van is taking power from your car battery as long as the cable between your van and car is connected....
