Just unplug it at the wall and plug it back in again after a minute or two. It always works with us. It happens quite often with us but my son has Sky in his room and his is always ok.

When I had a problem with mine I phoned an ad in our local paper for someone who mends TV Aerials, tunes in TVs etc and he sorted mine out for a tenner (he didn't actually want paying as it was a simple 5 minute job but I gave him something)

Hello JONCAZ
Have you tried removing all of the connections in the back of the box, give them a cleaning and tighten the ends of the the twin sky input cables.
If that does not work call in a local tv technician on the understanding that "no fix" equalls "no pay"
Then you could try what I have done twice, that is to threaten sky that you want to end your contract with them because you cannot afford £65. Last time I did this they replaced my ordinary box with a sky+box, new dish and 3 months discounted viewing all for free!
Just keep on to them.
Best of luck johntaylor99

as john says, ring sky, tell them your not happy with the service and you want to cancel your subscription and join virgin media, they will be out the next day to fix it free of charge!

If it's on the same dish then it sounds like the SKY+ box but if you have seperate dishes for both SKY boxes then it sounds like the dish is out of alignment...
