do street canvassers from companies need a permit to operate in city centres, if so are they charged for the permit?

they def need a permit (to stop lots appearing at once) and i THINK they are charged, but not sure. i used to work for a charity who used them a lot.

did you know that LEGALLY they can only follow you (ie walk with you) for two steps?!

then it's citizen arrest time LOL
