Right have always had Sky downstairs and Upstairs but a long time back I lost Sky upstairs but now I want it back on.

The cable is set to receive it upstairs ok. Anyway got a TV guy out and just what I suspected the "RED EYE" is kaputs. Anyway he started to open the red eye but couldn't get it to work (I knew it was no good). He charged me £10 which was fair enough.

I am just in from buying a new RED EYE and have got it installed into the back of TV but can't get it going. All I remember doing years ago was going to a certain channel maybe a 9 or 0 and pressing the Sky Remote.

I know there are other things I could do ie code eg but before I get the guy back again is there anything I could try. Thanks
