Spider Catcher!

I bought one of those battery powered spider catchers- a long tube with a 9V battery, which sucks like a vaccuum cleaner, so the spider gets sucked in, and you can dispense of him outside. However, it barely sucks anymore! I have literally used it three times and even with new batteries it barely makes a hum anymore. I have de-fluffed it and I don't think anything is caught up in it. Any idea what I can do to fix it- it was £13 so I don't really want to buy another one. I bought it off Ebay and in their infinite wisdom, won't let me scroll back far enough to see that listing. Any ideas?

Have you tried looking through your feedback history? Some of the older entries still have the item number listed which would give you a start with ebay complaints.
It will be listed under "Purchases", surely?
Everything that I have ever bought is listed there.
Chuck it away and put it down to experience.
