Ipad Problem With Skype

I have ran Skype on my iPad for 2years to communicate with friends in Australia .now all of a sudden when I bring it up it is showing a conversation from a year back . I can't get through at all . I have uninstalled reinstalled but still the same . Any help please would be good . Everything else on iPad is running ok

Forgot to add it is same on main computer that I have used for over 8years . Uninstalled and reinstalled there too but still the same
