Am deeply into recycling but have to admit I'm a bit stumped at what to do with the little metal (aluminium?) tea light containers other than as lightweight 'gravel' in my flowerpots, once the wax candle has burned down.
Any other - sensible, that means you, whiskeryron - suggestions?
I use a couple of tea light flowerpot heaters in my living room and get through about a dozen a day, but they have cut my heating bills down amazingly, and give a nice, safe, glow.

Make a windchime out of them
Put them in the recycling bin for drink cans or save them up and sell them for scrap. Alternatively get an efficient paraffin heater that doesn't give off carbon monoxide and and uses a fuel that costs a fraction of the cost of tea lights for the same heat output.
Another method might be, to re-use the holders that you have.
If you a fortunate to have a craft store near to where you live, that sell blocks of wax and wick string, why not try making your own tea lights ?
You can buy wax off ebay for a fiver a kilo...that's an awful lot of tea lights.

Thanks to everyone. Will keep thinking.
1 kg of paraffin wax has an energy content of 12.8 Kilowatt hours.
12.8 KWH of electricity costs about £1-60
1 Kg of paraffin wax costs about £5
Paraffin for domestic heaters costs half as much as paraffin wax.
Pretty idea off always.
