The Inquiry's latest letter basically says go away and don't bother us.

We all know it's going to say that Tony Bliar had promised to back up the US in an unofficial but binding way.

We all know that the US had their invasion force ready to go, pumped up with anti-nerve gas medication which committed them to immediate action, and that Tony was forced to give his support, fudging up the dodgy dossier.

Can Tony and his accomplices can hold up publication forever under the Maxwellisation process?

Gulf War 1 took 100 hours for victory, and Tony thought he was signing up for something similar.

Quite possibly. He wanted a glorious Falklands victory as his "heritage"

He didn't cover himself with glory, did he? He ended up covered in something smelly.

So - any bets on the publication date?

Reading the Sunday Times today, it's apparent that Chilcott isn't up to the job, and will allow the inquiry to go on forever.

Perhaps they chose him for that very reason?
