I have been prescribed the above medication for labyrinthitis and last night my eyes started to feel a bit dry and itchy. This morning the skin under my eyes is very red and feels burning / itchy. My eye are is quite puffy too.

Could it be connected to the tablets or have I just been unlucky enough to get an eye infection by coincidence? TIA

Unlikely..........but possible.

Use 1% hydrocortisone ointment on the skin of your eyes, twice daily.

Thanks Sqad, think we've got some of that knocking about so I'll give it a go. I won't bother asking you when the labyrinthitis is likely to clear up as I know it's a ' how long is a piece of string ? ' question :-)
