It seems you just solve it the normal way while ignoring the pictures and then rotate the centre squares so they fit.

Nah chuck, it doesn't work like that. For example one of the sides has one of the Anfield stands on it. On one block there is an L, the middle block and F and the other block a C. So you have to orientate every square correctly so that they line up. This is the same with other sides, there is the Liverpool crest, a picture of the players celebrating etc. So it makes solving it much more difficult than the normal cube.

Liverpool and the rubik's cube. Both big in the eighties and now just items of nostalgia.

But the centre blocks are the only ones you can change the orientation of, all the others can only ever be one way round when they are on the correct side.

Yes tony. I saw one episode presented by an old man called Des Lynam. He was talking about something called 'the first division champions'.

it is exactly the same as a normal cube!
the only reason it seems different is because the images are similar and more detailed. there is only one way for the pieces to match - same as the standard coloured cube in fact it is easier because you can tell whether a square you think is in finished position actually is, if it corresponds to the middle square |

No joko, the coloured cube is much easier than the Liverpool one. I can do the coloured once in about 5 mins but it takes much longer to do the Liverpool one. For the reasons I stated. What I mean is that you could have the Liverpool one finished and then realise that some of the centre cubes are not the correct way around. So you have to keep checking while solving it to make sure they are correct. Whereas this is not an issue with the normal cube.
